Agreement to Terms
By engaging Shoreline Water & Restoration ("Company") for property damage restoration, emergency services, or any related work, you ("Customer") agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all services including water damage restoration, fire and smoke damage restoration, mold remediation, biohazard cleanup, reconstruction, and emergency board-up services.
Services Provided
We provide property damage restoration and emergency services in Cape Coral, Florida, and surrounding Southwest Florida communities. Services are performed by IICRC-certified technicians in accordance with industry standards. We are a licensed Florida builder (CGC1534410) and EPA Lead-Safe certified.
Emergency Response
Our 60-minute emergency response guarantee applies to the Cape Coral service area during normal operating conditions. Response times may be affected by extreme weather events, natural disasters, or other extraordinary circumstances.
Insurance Billing
When authorized by the customer, we bill insurance carriers directly using Xactimate, the industry-standard estimating software. Customers are responsible for any deductibles, non-covered items, or amounts exceeding insurance coverage. We do not guarantee insurance approval or coverage for any service.
Pricing and Payment
For insured claims, services are billed at standardized industry rates per Xactimate guidelines. For non-insured work, we provide free written estimates prior to beginning work. Payment is due upon completion unless alternative arrangements are made in writing. We accept insurance direct billing, cash, credit card, and check.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about the property and damage, ensuring safe access to the property, notifying us of any hazardous materials or conditions, and cooperating with the restoration process including allowing access for equipment monitoring and removal.
Limitation of Liability
Shoreline Water & Restoration's liability is limited to the scope of the agreed-upon restoration work. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, damage caused by third parties, or damage resulting from customer interference with restoration equipment or processes.
Warranty
We warrant our restoration work against defects in workmanship for a period consistent with industry standards. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from subsequent water intrusion, natural disasters, or failure to address the original cause of damage.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lee County, Florida.
